WTB: Playstation 2 Slimline - Modified to play all region PS1/PS2 Original Games.(UK)

Hi there.

I'm looking to buy a Slimline Playstation 2 modified to be region free for both Playstation 2 and Playstation 1 games. My 60gb PS3 died recently after serving me a long time, so I thought it was time to get a new PS2 as I have a large collection of games. I toyed with the idea of getting an NTSC-U console to play my US imports on, but really my collection is mostly PAL so it would be nice for one machine to play all my PAL, NTSC-U/J PS2/PS1 games without any fuss. I am really not too bothered about playing backups, so it would be nice really for whatever modchip provides the best compatability with original PS2/PS1 games.

I read up on using Free McBoot but I didnt fancy having to backup and patch my games in order to play. I've also used Swapmagic in the past, but I really cant be bothered with that everytime I want to play a game - plus that old PS2 could kick the bucket at any time.

I was looking on Ebay at first for a console but the options are very limited and don't seem to be sold by anyone who knows much about the subject, nor can I really trust the condition of the consoles. Upon searching I found this site, and it seems this is where all the right people are! :excitement:

To sum up what I am looking for...

System: Playstation 2 Slimline (Though if need be, I would accept a Fat.)
Condition: New/Very Good (Looking for one that will last me Long Term-ish)
Primary Uses: Play all Original PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J Playstation 1 and 2 games.

Any offers or advice on obtaining something to suit my needs would be greatly appreciated.
