AUS/NZ [WTB] PlayStation 5903 Video CD model

Hi! Looking for a PlayStation 1 SCPH-5903 Video CD model, the Hong Kong white edition with orange "Video CD" sticker on it. I did manage to locate one on a Chinese auction site but I'm not familiar with how it works so it's a little too risky for me.

AFAIK there is no Video CD model. It's a custom job.

It's an official model released in Hong Kong with built in VCD functionality most likely due to how common the format was over there. It also had a dual voltage PSU so accepts 100v to 240v as I assume it was intended for multiple regions and was a similar white color to that of the PSOne Slim model, though they can yellow horribly. Just looking for a bare tidy console at the moment. Thanks!

Where did you find one and how much did you pay?

 

I scoured sites until I find it, mostly Asian auction sites and I was lucky enough to find it on a Chinese auction site but it took me forever. Try using some Chinese translations and you might get lucky like me, or buy the respray eBay one . It was just under AUD$200 delivered, it came with two dualshock controllers, a memory card and the leads. There was a note saying it came in a box but turned out to be a SCPH-9002 C box, nice to have but would have loved the 5903 box!

Console also didn't match the auction site photo but thankfully it was the right model complete with port, was in really dirty condition but a deep clean and some peroxide has got it nearly how I want it.
