You should consider PMing the site owner 'Assembler' (aka Kev) as he 'had' several spare units up for sale recently and may have some left. Additionally he is based in the USA.

As for the VCD PS1 (Hong Kong) and 10 million edition, you'll be lucky! I.e. join the queue ;-)

I've seen 1 VCD PS1 up for sale here in the last year or so. I've actually seen 2 x 10 million editions so happen to know they exist on this board, but would be surprised if either of them surface again for a while.

It'll be easier to obtain a Net Yaroze version of PS1, and actually much more fun :)

Thanks for the info good sir. With me being new to the site, it's hard to know who to talk to. I know that the VCD Player Playstation & 10 Million Edition Playstation are gonna be a pain to find but I like the thrill of the chase. That's part of the fun of being a collector of things I guess. So far they have be all hard for me to find including the Debugger ones but I keep trying. I have a Net Yaroze already. I have had it since it came out but I wouldn't mind getting another. After looking around the site and seeing pictures an what not, I did PM ASSEMbler and asked him if he had any spares to sell but I got no response. He may be too busy or hesitant since I'm new.

Possibly that Kev is really busy and tends to take a while to filter through his PMs - probably like most of us he tends to answer the people he recognises first. However, the PS1 Debugging kits (blue) are fairly commonly for sale on here. I actually have one, but it is in the UK and I am loath to deal with the USA at present. No offense but I've had a few bad experiences with very long delays and the costs of S&H make it a bit unattractive also. Keep hunting and welcome to the boards fellow PS fan! Always good to see new faces and new collections.

Within the last 3 or so months I came accross 3 midnight blue models. I used to own 2 of them, one was resold on ebay and is now somewhere in France. Sometimes I wonder if they really were limited to 100 pieces, since of the 2 pieces I had were purchased from the same person, who was not a collector but rather a Sony employee. I guess we will never find out to what numbers they really were limited, or if really all 100 were put up for lottery only.

edit: as for the debugging stations, there were 2 rather cheap blue units up on this board like 2 weeks ago, one in the states another one in the netherlands. both were around 45 usd. Sadly I forgot the details but I'm sure the search option will spit it out.

Thanks for the input s1xty. I heard there were 100 Midnight Blue consoles made and given out for a contest promotion. I also heard that not all of them were given out and some were never redeemed and are still at Sony but who really knows for sure. I seem to have missed all these Blue & Green Debugger Playstations that have been selling recently. I guess I have bad luck sometimes. I will keep looking for all these Playstations though. The collecting bug has bit me.

You know if the third one has to go I will PM you first this time :110:

The one that sold on ebay went to a game developer in france, actually asked to have it shipped to the company address. Wonder if they put it up for display into like glass cabinet :icon_bigg

On topic: Try to PM "The Awoken One" on this board, he was selling a blue debug a week ago for 50 Euros. I don't know if it ever sold or not though, you will have to find out from him

Also try "Calpis" he had a "very ugly acclaim psx debugger" up for $50 which didnt seem to sell either.

AHHHHHHHH, Midnight Blue Playstation. One I will probably never get. Thanks for the tips s1xty. I know about "Calpis" ones but I have been told he wants too much for them and besides, I would like them in good condition.
