Do you know whats on it, you said back when gold and silver but do you mean heart gold soul silver or just after the transition from gbc to gba?
if the second one id assume its a gb green maybe translated in a gba shell

 

I mean like the first gold and silver era. If I remember rightly, it wasnt like pokemon at all, it was like clefairy or jigglypuff on a side scroller, really wierd.

I cant get it to play for some reason mate.

 

The game is probally a pocketnes port of the unlicensed pokemon green for famicom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6X3hK2vGlg. it could be copy protection or how its made what are you trying to play it on? if it is copy protection it might not work on a ds lite have you tried on an a gba or sp

I have one copy already and am in the process of aquireing another whats your label look like?

 

Label is the same as the US version except this one is slightly squished, hard to tell but the label picture is about 95% as tall as it is meant to be. Same as yours?

While it gets approved I'll just say too that I have at my grandparents a GB cart which is red and contains a pokemon green translation but not that one everyone knows about, and it also has huge text overflow issues because I believe the maker just pasted plain text into it screwing up the code. Catching most pokemon crashes it, as do many events...

Haven't bothered looking it up on the internet and I haven't actually seen it in about 5 years but it won't have gone anywhere, I'll check it out when I can.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing that one either

the one I already haves label isn't the best (talking about the art and layout) the one im working into a deal has a similar but a little sharper was yours recarted? The cartridge itself looks to be a real one (on the reverse does it say made in japam or is missing that spot completely) if it was recarted that could explain what happened to the label in the bottom right corner

 

Mine certainly wasn't recarted because the guy I got it from was some dodgy Taiwanese / Chinese guy. The Cart says made it japan pat pend and the label in the bottom corner was actually done by my child self lol. Pretty sure it was done when I stuffed it into my pocket with a Pokemon Emerald cart when I'd be at my friend's house. The label itself also shows no real signs of being put back on. The actual dmg to the label itself in the corner is almost zero because the foil stuff on top or whatever it is is still intact, but it's come away from the sticky stuff.

I'm pretty sure this thing wasn't opened from that case thing it was in for the entire time since it came out of the factory. My theory is that they glued the battery to the board and just closed it up, then shoved the label on quickly because they didn't care at all (hence why the label isn't straight at all). Seems like a reasonable explanation. I've entertained leaving it in the sun for a while and seeing if it would open but due to the shoddy build quality it would probably die.

 

Ok just found my only other GB cart and I can say right now that the Crystal cart is 100% fake, as the font, colour and shape are all different and my crystal cart is also half missing the "A" on Japan.

Finally a focused one, this time the left cart is the fake one. You can see it is different inside.

 

As for pricing it kinda depends on the seller I didn't pay too much for the one I already have and the other one will be coming bundled. I am also still interested in the green you were talking about if you had any way of getting pictures of it I remember you said it was elsewhere
