    I'm going to have to put a hold on this want to buy for a month or so because I just dropped 164 usd on the hdmi adapter for n64 and I can't really justify it at this time.

    You might want to wait a bit, a little birdy told me a version of this hardware is coming out soon that makes it much easier to use and install.
