WTB: PS1 "Lemmon" Yellow Controller

    WTB: PS1 "Lemon" Yellow Controller

    So I thought I finally found one last week and arrived today only to be a dualshock 2 pad and doesn't work with all my PS1 games. So I thought I would try here to get the last part(s) to my yellow PS1. I already have it in a case with two official "lemon" yellow memory cards. At this point I don't care if it is third party for now so long as it works and it is a PS1 pad and doesn't vary greatly. Heck it doesn't even need to be a dualshock pad. Willing to pay a god price on this due to the rarity jsut hit me up as i am really dying here. It is the only one of my systems that does not have a matching pad for the system.

    I remember heaps of these unwanted, new in stores.

    I think they must have sent them to landfill to get the tax write off!

    Must be as I can't find one that has even been for sale in 6 months. Only Dualshock 2 pads that vary slightly in color anyhow.

    put the internals of a ps1 dualshock into the dualshock 2 shell ?

    Internal are shaped differently, I don't think PS1 and PS2 internal is interchangeable. If you can make it work, post the model # of both controller so I'd know for future reference.

    I tried to put PSOne controller gut in a dark blue PS2 controller but nothing would fit.

    Nope the L2 and R2 buttons do not fit as I tried to cram one into the dualshock 2 pad I already have. There is not any way to make it look good either. I got a smoke black pad for the time being but I will offer $50 for a lemon yellow PS1 pad dual shock or not.
