    Hi, I have an SCPH-1000 PS1 on the way from Japan. Is there anybody in the UK who would be able to mod it for me once it arrives?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Do you have the chip already or need one of those too?

    The install is easy enough, if you need the chip id have to pick up some chips to program and use.

    Hi, thanks for the reply. I don't have a chip so would need someone to acquire one if they didn't have some already.

    SCPH-1000 is PU-7, and I would want stealth, so it looks like the MM2 code is what I would need.

    Please don't chip a SCPH-1000.. ;_;

    If nobody else will do it then I'd be happy to.

    Yes, that is the connections for wiring it up.

    No link to the Hex file to actually program to the chip tho in the download section.

    Ah, sorry for my ignorance, lol. So it looks like we are stuck without a real MM2 chip?

    Unless someone's Google prowess is better than mine, or someone's hoarding the files.

    The MM3 code works in stealth on everything but the SCPH-1000. So id imagine that there hasn't really been much call for the MM2 code.

    stealth HeX for SCPH-100x

    It's not the mm2 hex, but it's a stealth hex code and works great on the scph-100x.

    Why chip a 1000? Why not chip a 3000,5000,5500,7000 or 9000?? There is a few million still around unlike the 1000...

    Personal choice. I have a 1000 series chipped plus a BAM laser assembly with bias and gain set for max performance. I'm very happy with it.
