WTB PS1 STEALTH MODCHIP

I have a few spare PS1's, I'd like to chip them and retire my debug unit from extra use for my imports. Anyone?

 

Just so you know, if I'm not wrong the PS1 modchip that exists is non stealth if you only do a 4 wire install, connecting the other 3 wires will make the chip stealth.

 

I've got 2 that I burned, but the verify process on them failed which could be due to the code protect bit being set, or a false error on the programmer or even something being wrong with the programmer! You can have one and try if if you want (Solder to a socket and put the PIC in the socket so if it doesn't work, toss the PIC and replace it with a different one)

 

Thanks but no thanks...that's not cost effective for me since I don't have any extra equipment.
