Just thought that I would let you know, there were no v1, v2 or v3 released in Japan... after the PCMCIA SCPH-1x000 versions, they just went straight to v4. v1 and v2 were only released in America, and v3 was only released in America and the PAL regions.

Thank-you, but it all depends on who your talking to! I say SCPH-10000 is a Version 1, being that it was the FIRST version to be released, I don't care what Sony say they are! I have an NZ v3 but technically its a v1 cause it was the FIRST version released here!

So when you said a Japanese v1, v2 and v3, you meant SCPH-10000, SCPH-15000 and SCPH-18000, right? The three consoles normally known under the same "v0" moniker. Yes, I see where you are coming from... releasing certain revisions only in certain parts of the world wasn't really the best move.

But speaking in thse "relative" vx terms is confusing, so for clarity the specific models should be stated. Which in your case, I'm guessing are the SCPH-10000, SCPH-15000 and SCPH-18000.

    WTB: PS2 TOOL Parts e.t.c!!!

I am currently looking for a broken PS2 TOOL or a PS2 TOOL with broken bits inside or whatever!!

I would like to find a complete casing, (either with backplane or not)!!
    PSU!!
    All the mainboards e.t.c!!
    The HDD holders!!

Basically everything for a PS2 TOOL but just not working!!

I'm embarking on a project and would really like these at a reasonable cost with payment being through Paypal as a gift!!

It's an NTSC-J model with 240V PSU - easy enough to change though. Still has the PCMCIA blanking plate. £80?
