WTB: PS4 Dev Kit

Hi AssemblerGames Members,
Im searching a PS4 Dev Kit. I found one on Ebay the other Day, but in my opinion, 4000 Euros is too much in my eyes, as of Sony handled them out for a lower Price (2000$-2500$) to companys etc (as stated on several Sites).

I thought about that Price: 1800 Euros (Thats around 1900-2000$)

You're always going to pay more than the original price for current gen consoles. No developer who isn't really desperate for money is going to sell their hardware for the same as they bought it for and risk getting into legal trouble or having their developer license cut off. Most people who got those from auctions and the like are going to understand that and also charge a premium price. Once ps4 is no longer current gen they will probably sell for far under their original price. You're probably better off registering to be a developer. That way you'd have all the licenses and it would actually work.

 

Once more get into the wild they'll come down in price.

Happened to the PS3/Xbox 360 generation and so it's bound to happen to this one too.

It's just a matter of time.
