you know, the psp devkit is just an add on (ok there is an UMD tower) for the TOOL ps2 ...

and testing tool.... buy a psp, and downgrade to 1.0!

Really? But why use the TOOL for anything? What exactly is done by the "add on"?
PS2 and PSP architecture is not very similar, I'm wondering what the benefit of this setup would be.

A devkit is far more intersting in many other ways than a 1.00 psp (which I allready have anyway), and no it isn't just an add-on, which is why I am looking for one

    Hey Math,

I remember reading on ps2dev a long while ago that u already have all the pspsdk software that you acquired so why couldn't you acquire the hardware?

    Thanks, Will

I remember subbie telling me that the tool has nothing to do in collaborating with the PSP devkit. as such, u don't need a TOOL kit to have a PSP devkit.
