    As title states I want to buy a RVT-R reader with either green, red or white faceplate.

    Also I am interested in buying DEV RVT-R discs like the Wii menu Install disc and all others.

    well who says those didn't get one?
    They could have gotten the offer via a PM.
    Also RVT-R readers are not that rare, I've seen a few on ebay ...

    Nintendo sells them for extremly high prices (imho), they are 500EUR in europe :eek:

    Sales tax will probably be on top of that. AND, no one who is licenced will order an RVT-R for you, unless they are doing it to make money.....in which case they would probably add a few hundred euros to the price.

    You must be American. ;) Euro prices usually *include* sales tax/VAT in the quoted price.

    That said, I've never seen a RVT-R (green or white plate) go for less than a grand on the secondhand market.

    RVT-Hs (red plate, hard drive instead of disc drive) are rarer than the RVT-Rs secondhand. They usually sell for more than the RVT-R, but I've never known of an RVT-H to be sold bare. Without the PC software, the RVT-H is rather useless, especially if no games are loaded.

    RVT-Rs are usually sold bare when they go secondhand.

    ASSEMbler's had one for sale in the marketplace for a few weeks at a price that is a downright steal. If you didn't buy his, you're not likely to find one anytime soon because chances are high that you won't find a seller offering one any cheaper.
