Sorry about making 2 threads, didn't have my thoughts altogether, haha. Please get rid of the other thread if you want.

I want to buy a Samsung Saturn. Yes they're rare. Yes, I probably wont find them, but Yes, there's gotta be someone on this forum who has one or can get one.
Without the box I am willing to pay $400. I know with the box its more expensive but I can't afford it unless you're willing to go around 450.

I am also interested in a US ONLY saturn Netlink and Netlink compatible games. The games should be in okay condition, the manuals can be torn a little and the disc can have some wear as long as the disc works but I'd really like to find one with a nice case. Preferably one with minimal cracks and absolutely no hinge damage.

Finally, I'm also interested in most samsung stuff. I'm not interested in megadrive games, however I am interested in samsung saturn games, saturn consoles, megadrive consoles (preferrably a model 2), and controllers for each console.

Reply to this thread if you can get this or own it. Also feel free to PM me.

I AM ALSO INTERESTED IN BROKEN CONSOLES AND CONTROLLERS JUST AS LONG AS THE CASING IS NOT DAMAGED.

Isn't the US NetLink come in a A4/Letter size cardboard box? Can't recall whether there's pack-in game as well since it's been years since I saw the copy.

with Samsung Saturn there were different versions from memory - the later one having the mod chip of the beat. @__@ It's rare even in S. Korea so wish you good luck.

thanks. Im not sure about the netlink but I think later versions did come with a game.
There are supposedly 2 models of the samsung saturn. Both look the same, with the oval buttons, but the later models are actually region free.

from what I heard it's basically security ring free - it has the mod chip fitted from the factory.
not sure about the region free as most of titles available were either NTSC-J or NTSC-A... It would run Korean released as well as Japanese titles whether it's genuine copy or home made CD-R.

That seems weird. Sega allowing CD-R? Not the same region as Japan? I dunno...

remember it was sold by Samsung and toward the last stage Samsung was desperate to get rid of the stock and apparently fitted mod chip into the remaining stock or something like... of coz probably unofficially...

I'd say you'd be paying well over the odds if you paid $400 for an unboxed one. Boxed, you'll probably have difficulty finding one for $450.

I can't remember whether I have any spare games, and they're in storage.

Uhh, why do you have two WTB threads for the exact same thing?

Read the rules - you can only have one WTB thread. If you want the same item, just bump it! ;)

I know, I don't want that older thread, so a mod can remove it if need be.
