WTB Saturn AR and Deep Fear

Hello everyone...

I've decided to check out some imported games, and wanted to start with Saturn and Deep Fear, as it's a game I remember hearing a lot about way back when. It seem's I need a Action Replay 4 in 1, but they seem to cost a bit, cheapest I found was 25$ at playasia. Does anyone know of a better price, or possibly does someone have an extra laying around they would sell me? I'd rather give money to someone here then to a store.

Also, I wanted to buy either the Japanese or PAL version of Deep Fear, probably the JPN one since it doesn't cost as much lol. I don't know any japanese, but I read the game is pretty english friendly with english voices, although menus and items might be a bit confusing. Does anyone here have Deep Fear that they would sell me? Best price I found was on playasia for 10$, does that sound good? It said it's complete and everything. If someone here wants to sell me one it'd be nice if it was complete. I still don't get what a spinecard is or why it's important to the games completeness though. Can someone help me with that too? Have a spare PAL one, but I'm probably looking at a lot more than you're willing to pay, from the sounds of it!

Why didn't you jump on the $10 copy?!?!?!

If you want to play imported games, mod your Saturn! Or get a second console that you can mod. A switched console is the best way to play imports!

 

I'm not too confident in my modding skills to be honest. Plus wouldn't it be more expensive then just getting an AR? I did end up getting the 10$ copy. Now I just need a way to play it.

 

I've got a new AR that works, but might need to have the mod done for 4M games.

I thought all the AR's had the RAM and stuff? Or was there like an AR and AR Pro?

 

This is the AR4M+, there was a time when they had problems with the 4M part working. At one time I bought 50 of them to sell and I'm down to three I believe. I have sold the last 10 or so for $20 shipped.
