I have had a bitch of a time locating one. I've been experimenting with saturn hacking, but that swap trick is often times a pain in the ass. I found one site that supposedly sells them, but I can't get a reply via email, and there seems to be no web designed way to order it. Thank you.

I was going to point you to my friend RacketBoy's site, but he seems to have not only raised the price, but went out of stock!

I did not know about the above site. I'd definitely check that out, that's a fantsatic price.

Glad you're sorted. If anyone else wants a Saturn mod chip, I'm sure I have one in my box of bits.

I have a hexidecimal switch for country codes (I tend to be over the top) a cd access light (It's a model 2, the circuitry was there, i just had to readd the light) a "open/close" switch to let it know when to read, a flashing multicolored LED, I added a double a holder in the back to replace the watch battery. (I have saves still there that are 4 years old) I made my own AV cable (too lazy to buy one) as well.

Uhh, wouldn't it have been cheaper to just buy another CR2032 than a battery holder and decent batteries? It'd last a lot longer, too!!

Hex switches were the standard switch of choice back in the day, by the way.

I miiight have to snag one of these. I just... broke mine (don't ask, it's embarassing) and will try and salvage it but I don't know if there's hope.

The previously linked stores are now out of stock completely. No!!!

I contacted both RacketBoy and Raluminat, both say they will have them back in stock. Unless RB lowers his price from the 40 bucks he has listed (I got my first one from him for MAYBE 25) I'll just get one from Ral, who says he will have them back in a couple days (RB = a week+)
