WTB SD2SNES

Hello!
I am looking for an SD2SNES flash cart, preferably with a shell. A USB port is not important to me.
I've been making the rounds at the sellers that ship this item worldwide and have not been able to find one in stock for the past two months or so.
I'm hoping to pay an amount close to what retrogate sells them for (190 with shell).

I wish you luck with your search. I ended up just buying one myself from ebay of all places (paid too much for it). I heard they are only making 100 in the first year, it might be a little difficult to find. The Super Everdrive is much easier to find and is still a great product imo (much cheaper I might add).

 

Thanks for your reply, Akidadus! I just got into the flash cart scene in July so I just barely missed my window on the SD2SNES. Interesting to know about the number made... I'm not in a hurry, so I can wait and see if more are built. GP2X has the board only up for pre-order right now, so that's a good sign.

 

you might be hard pressed to find a secondhand SD2SNES since it targets a pretty specific userbase + the price + amount produced

 

For boards-only you can have a look here, where krikzz listed several retailers.

AFAIK only SAG is selling with casing and, sadly it is out of stock.

For second hand items, I fear no one will sell it cheaper because of the scarcity.

 

Oh, I totally agree. I went ahead and ordered a board only version from GP2X and a really nice member here is making a shell and label for me :encouragement:

 

This item arrived a couple weeks ago and I love it! Arcade's shell and labels look fantastic on it as well.
