Hi,
Earlier this year I had a Sega CD model 2 recapped, new battery, NA/JP switched, and given a new laser. After I got it, the replacement laser died so I had the modder put the original laser back in, which also stopped working. Most of the time the disc doesn't spin, but once in a while it does but it still won't read the disc.

If anyone has experience repairing these and is interested in helping me out, please send me a PM. I'll happily cover the cost of supplies and labor. I really want to be able to enjoy it again.
