WTB: Sega Magistr Drive controllers

I know this is a long shot being as these are pirated clone items but I thought I'd try. Looking for 2 of the weird 6 button PS1 shaped controllers that shipped with some of the pirated Magistr Drive clones. If not 2 then at least 1. I'm really just interested in the complete casing so even if it doesn't work on official hardware or is broken then that's fine. I plan to have these scanned and 3D printed in black and customized official hardware shoved in them. Thinking of some of those programmable pads or at least something with turbo and auto fire functions....

I'm hoping some of you over in South America have something like this or know someone with them who would like to make some quick $$$. Just to be clear, I want controllers only. I don't care about the console unless the guts are good and are around the size of an Everdrive MD PCB.

 

you might be able to get away with using the sega genesis/mega drive 6 button controllers. if that is based on sega technology you should be good since the port looks the same, unless you have to have those exact controllers and if that is the case it could be difficult.

 

^ I think you misunderstood what I'm trying to do here. I have dozens of official and 3rd party 6 button controllers. Some even with turbo function. I have all of the official Sega model Megadrive/ Genesis. I want these pirate controllers because of their shape. My hands seem to have a weird cramping problem in them that happens from holding standard controllers too long. I get around that for marathon playthroughs by using a Gennistick controller. Only problem there is if I get in a tense situation (like some of the improved bosses in hacked Sonic games) the controller suction cups pop loose and screw me up. (FUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!............) The Playstation/ Xbox controller shapes don't make my hands cramp up. Since there are pirate Megadrive controllers based on that shape I thought I'd hunt them down for more comfy marathon game play. Besides, don't they just look awesome?

EDIT: Forgot to say that what I said above is the whole reason for hunting these down. If I get a hold of some, I want them black hence the talk of 3D printing new copies. Then there's the question of compatibility. That's the reason I would go with hacked up official and good 3rd party guts. Custom controllers that look cool, don't hurt my hands, and will work being based off good designs electronically wise. Who knows, there could be a business here...
