    Which one?
I have a Cross Products modified grey Saturn (the one with Mirage connector and NMI cable) with an early-version PsyQ cartridge, shoot me PM if it's what you're after.

I thought your Saturn was the Psygnosis one, not the Cross one?

Hmm, you're selling that? Damn, bad time for me, unfortunately, or I'd jump at it!

Vectrex, what exactly do you want to do with it? If you want it for developing, your best bet is to use an Action Replay with comms card. That's the cheapest solution and easiest to find complete. If you want further explanation of the options, have a look for my previous posts on the topic, or feel free to ask ;-)

Now that you mention it I'm not sure... the cart is definitely Psygnosis but I recall the VCD board being from Cross Products... I'll check next time I'm at my parents'. But yeah, I'm selling that.

The action replay and cable can be had for less than $25 bucks NiB if it would suit your needs.

They have the same setup for PS1's there as well cheap.

Wait... you have the cable that connects the saturn to the mirage!!??
If vectrex_rox doesn't take your whole setup would you consider selling me the cable?

I'm sure what he meant was that his Saturn has the VCD - i.e. VirtualCD - port to connect to the Mirage unit.

Yeah, I have the VCD port and the NMI cable... which is just a 6-pin header. No full-size SCSI'ish thing I'm afraid...

Yup, you need to do a bit more reading ;-) The NMI cable is an interrupt cable, NOT the custom SCSI cable for virtual CD units.

    I've tried explaining that ;-)

You might as well use CD-Rs nowadays. It is a LOT less hassle. And a darned sight cheaper!!

I guess it makes a good doorstop ;-) Oh, or paperweight!!

Thinking about it, I've never seen a Psygnosis Saturn with an NMI cable. It is technically possible, but I would imagine that probably IS a Cross Saturn.

    Retro/
I had once two Psy Saturn and one of them was pretty much stock standard looking - no VCD port and etc. - but has this rather long NMI cable sticking out in front... and the other Saturn has only the VCD port, no NMI nor country rotary switch...

    All mods were optional, basically.

Technically speaking, the Psy-Q was JUST the cartridge (and associated software). It didn't come with a Saturn, in fact it was suggested to use a retail Saturn. I've not found out the official word on the Psygnosis Saturns yet. Cross, on the other hand, did mod Saturns officially.
