I've got a model 1 here that doesn't seem to like me anymore. If you'd like to buy a power supply its yours.

    110v model.

lol. but i think it would be much easier if i start with a fresh console. i just remembered i broke a trace by taking of the remaining legs on the solder pads and a few pads lifted off and i broke a trace but i did some testing with my multi-meter and re routed the traces with some kynar wire but still gave me a black screen but i wired it up nicely fixed a missing trace that missed (it was hard to spot) and put it semi-together. and i was plugging everything back in and i turned it on seen this spark in my shelf as i was turning it on...and im pretty sure it was a resistor touching the 2 pins that are connected to the slot were you put your ac cord in and now it wont turn on. i think it took out everything in my console :(. live and learn wont make the same mistake again (Don't use chip quik that what i learned useless if there glue attached to the maskrom).

First time I used chip quik was on a Saturn and it resulted in lifted traces. I was able to repair the damage but still.

The Saturn this power supply would come from works but I can't get it to recognize any discs. It might just be a laser problem but I am willing to part with it. The region free BIOS has already been installed.

do you think my cd-rom assembly would still work after this? i could replace the cd-rom assembly in that saturn and make it work again.

Yours should work even after that, the mobo should too. I've done some pretty stupid things to Saturns and still have them work.

Keep in mind I can't guarantee it will work with a replaced optical drive and shipping across the border won't be terribly cheap unless I shipped just the mobo.

I believe I do. PM me what you think is a fair price and we can go from there. I'll have to dig out a mobo and see what it weighs though the one you're purchasing is buried in a box somewhere. In the process of moving so most of my belongings are in a big pile of boxes.
