    Aloha Everyone,

I have a bunch of GB/GBC and GBA carts coming in and I'd like to back them up! As far as I can tell the Smartboy Cart is the best commercial one that uses usb instead of parallel ports like most of the rest. It doesn't look like they sell them directly from their website anymore so I'm checking to see if anyone has one they'd like to sell here or if you know anywhere to get them in general that would be helpful, thanks!!

I was unable to find the exact cart you requested, but I do know where you can get a similar card.

    It has the following features:
    • support for gb/cgb/gba/gbp
    • supports gb/cgb roms (including lsdj)
    • multiple game roms on the same cartridge are allowed
    • connects to pc via mini-b type usb cable
    • software supported on windows xp, vista, and 7 (OS X, linux, and BSD support in alpha development)
    • easily replaceable battery (for sram). no soldering is required

You can buy it for $40.00 HERE

    Hope I helped. :smile-new:

Thank you for the info, I have come across that unit already but unfortunately that one does not have a programer that allows me to also transfer game saves to and from retail carts which is one of my main concerns.

I may go that route eventually and combine that with the gameboy mega memory card to take care of the saves.
