WTB SmartXX version 3 ModChip for original XBOX

Looking for SmartXX version 3 Modchip. I might even settle for a SmartXX version 2 also. I have lots of different stuff to trade or I will out right buy it.

 

let me know when you need this..I have 8 smart xx v2 se's..

 

How do you distinguish among SmartXX versions? I have one but don't know its version number.

I need to figure out how to use SmartXX to flash on board TSOPs. I'm pretty sure that it can be done.

I usually just softmod(memory card/splinter cell exploit) then tsop it and use hexen to bios..but you could use the smart xx with a pinheader, and use hexen to flash but remove modchip before you hit flash..otherwise it will write to the chip..never tried it but it should work..

 

I can verify that flashing tsop's via modchip + flashdisc (eurasia or hexen) works. I have been successful with various chips such as aladdins, xecuter 2's, and duo chips; but I switched over to Turfster's mentioned method via softmod + flashdisc. It's more economical to go with the second method! Also can vouch for turfster, as I have bought more than one item from him.

 

Flashing a TSOP is easier with the last version of the Gentoox Linux bootloader .xbe. That's how I do it. Has an option in the settings to flash as long as the new BIOS is in the C drive in a folder aptly named BIOS. Still have to have the write enable points soldered but that's a small thing.

 

I have the original smartxx 3 install disc if any of you are interested no i ain't selling it,i'll upload an iso you can download,besides it's a picture disc it'll be a collectors item in no time you'll have to pry it from my cold & clammy dead hands ,i didn't install the chips so contents of disc i will list below,if you want the iso i'll make a download link or if that screws up i'll make a torrent instead i'll need 2-3days depending how busy i am

{Edit:HOW THE SMARTXX BIOS WORKS= once smart is flashed you have option of booting to "settings menu" (see screen shot,names of actual screens are in red below smartxx banner),from there you can boot C on the hdd,or homebrew linux if installed & i think ce windows,apart from the other functions in the other pics you can if you so decide set the smartxx to boot directly into your preferred dash on c thereby bypassing the smartxx screen altogether,this can be toggled on or off from the smart bios}

screenshots of dash i picked for upload assuming they work,there's more screen options when booted to the smart bios screen this a couple or so of them + 1 penguin main window i didn't realize was there dam! i'l have to check to see if my xbox can get that border or it may need to be flashed in..lol..

That was for me. My inbox was full yesterday. Do you have a version 3 smartxx? I need one bad! I have a xbox that needs that chip. It has the XLCD alreeady from team xecuter. That hooks direct to the version 3 with no soldering. It has the same LCD port as the X3 chips do. I have the version 2 already and I really like it. So the version 3 is the next step in the process!
