If you just want a schematic, want to pay me to design one? :) Jaguar cartridges are extremely simple, just a 1Mx32 ROM and a serial EEPROM, so with a spare cartridge connector you could make a game reader/flash programmer or RAM cart connected to parallel port or whatever. I can design it, but it wouldn't be worth it for me to build, debug and write software for it.

yes i believe for any electronic enthusiast it is an easy effort to create such flash cart for those ancient machines ... still i am after the creation of the guy (forgot the name) he was member of OS- (OldSchool) his creations were posted on fAZ!´s BBS FreakWorld back in the days.

no it was a flash cart or even ram cart (with battery) that connected to the amiga expansion port to write on it ... there were adapters for lynx, jag, and a neogeo one...

    what 4000 us$ stuff is that ;)

How are you certain? Lots of people (including copier makers) claimed to have a Neo adapter but nobody has proof of success except for Bung. The MGD2 Neo adapter uses 9 ASICs totaling thousands of logic gates, the equivalent of a small CPU. At that time it would be unheard of for a hobbyist to build that, not to mention that SNK's logic had to be reverse engineered from their own ASICs, and would require a minimum of $200 of logic and $200 of DRAM to play the launch games. Also at the time, this must have been for the AES system since MVS systems were commercial only, and nobody except for Bung built their own AES cartridges without SNK parts until Neoflash in early 2006. It seems very far fetched for BBS content, which was usually fake nonsense. I can believe Jaguar and Lynx which are extremely simple cartridges comparatively, but Neo Geo must have been a joke. I have written some posts about Neo Geo cartridges I can link to explain more if you care.

So the Amiga programs the flash, then you stick the flash into the adapters which bring the ROM signals to the connector. For Jaguar, it takes 4 of those flash cards? Since he used original game boards Neo Geo would be entirely possible, but it'd take 7 cards minimum for a commercial game. I suppose the backup adapters wire the console connector as a ROM as well. This is the absolute simplest way to make a copier, I thought you meant this guy built something all original that could program in-system, this is probably based around a free Amiga flash programmer project.
