    Hello guys,

After a long time of noticing the PSU side of my saturn is getting warmer and warmer, I decided to open it up and to no surprise, I can see a cap leaking and burnt wires as well. (Yikes!) This Saturn has a serial of : BC50062975.

I have another PSU from my old unit that I bought at launch (Dead CD, no serial # strangely. Only Model HST3200 240V made in Japan sticker. I remember using it with a stepdown converter to 100V however) Can I exchange the PSU with this one ? Is it compatible ? Also, is it really 240V ? Both consoles are model-1 JPN, but have different PSU's from what I can tell anyway.

Top is the bad one, the lower is the old unused PSU. (the glass cap thingy is dusty from the inside though...)
Apologies for the bad camera. I would like to exchange it to a 240V if possible please.
Shipping is preferably with Registered air mail. PM with offers. :)

    Thanks !

I'm shocked as you are. No idea why or how it got to this state. White glue ? TOP224YN ? And that's a fuse ? Never knew what these were so thanks for the lesson lol.

Just tried the old PSU and after 2 hours of gameplay it's working fine. Actually, cool as well. (compared to the 5 min > oven bad one) I have no skills about de/soldering at all. Is it ok if I send it to you and repair it if you're willing ?

Still looking for a 240v PSU guys. Please let me know in PM if you're willing to sell !

Lastly is there a guide about the PSU and how to identify model parts and what goes where ? When I searched all I saw are some scattered posts on google (and from you as well DruidII, thank you) If not there should be.
