WTB: ULTRAHDMI Mod

As title say, im looking for a ultrahdmi mod for my n64.
If you have a kit for me for sale, please let me know.

I am looking for one as well!
Unfortunately there aren´t really any place to get one.
The resellers only sells them as a mod, and even those are sold out almost instantly.
I have tried contacting marshall in order to buy a couple of kits, one for my own N64 and others for members in here, he haven´t responded though.

Did you manage to order the kit only? If so, where? Or was it an installation service?

 

That's because the soldering skills needed are a bit higher than your usual project and I know that I don't want to take a refund because someone thought this would make a good first project. I don't blame marshallh for shortlisting installers he knew would make his life easier. It's a PITA to deal with dozens of different people who only want to buy one UltraHDMI. Getting large batches made at once makes it cheaper and some fabs have minimum orders. My experiences being the sole reseller for a time of the Phantom Saturn chip is the entire reason my PayPal account is locked permanently and I'll have to form a LLC in order to get another.

If I was in Europe I'd offer to install one but shipping outside of the US is stupid expensive.

But other sellers of modchips is not responsible for people bricking there consoles, neither is Marshallh.
It would be nice if it was possible to purchase a single kit (Like on Tim Worthingtons store), but since this is not an option, I have suggested Marshallh to purchase a couple of kits, with the intention of reselling them on this forum.
Since I am from Europe, getting it installed via a US seller will be expensive in shipping, and I truly enjoy modding my own systems myself.
All in all, I am very interested in a UltraHDMI, but it is extremely difficult to get a hold of one, unfortunately.

 

No sorry, it is an installation service. im getting a pal version but ill need an ntsc one too.

 

im sure i can install it on my n64, and thats the only reason im locking for one kit.
Use my xRGB3 for it at the mom, but i like connect it directly.
Pay a good price for it.

 

If I had more in the way of funds I could put into purchasing a batch I would and install them. There are requirements that must be met in order to place an order even if you're on the shortlist like I am and they make it prohibitive due to a lack of said excess funds. From what I understand the fab that produces them has minimum orders necessary to produce a batch and obviously the price per unit scales with order size. It's also hardly what you'd call a simple PCB. On top of that there has been an unspecified delay in the latest batch being available.

Given the low supply, high demand, and profit margins available I don't think anyone will simply be reselling UltraHDMIs anytime soon. Even if I wanted to I don't have the funds to risk.

 

Since there just was a possiblity of ordering, I am gonna bump this thread.
If someone have a spare Ultrahdmi kit let me know!
