WTB: [US] NEC Turbografx CD-Drive or Turbo Duo

Hey guys does anyone here have one of the following that they would be willing to let go of for an affordable price ? I have the base turbografx 16 american system already.

NEC Turbo CD Add-on

NEC Turbo Duo

NEC PC-Engine Duo

I am trying to get into playing the cd-rom games on real hardware and I will also need to get the system cards and the arcade card.

 

It's difficult to find the USA model CD drive by itself, even busted. They're almost always sold alongside a turbografx.

Don't spend a goofy inflated price for any normal duo if you go that route. After a certain point it'd makes more sense to get one premodded for imports and rgb video.

I have such an upgraded PC-Engine Duo R. Plus an arcade card and 6 button controller. Even the pricey Dracula X game. It wouldn't be easy to let any of it go, but if you're serious enough maybe I'll talk. Not going to take joke offers kindly on one that nice.

 

hmm that username and avatar image looks very familar. Do you use the same username on digitpress ? I am actively for one But I am not looking to spend ebay prices for these things. I found a system bundle locally but they are saying that they have a Duo system even though it is just the standard system + cd addon and some games. Send me a pm on what kind of prices you would be looking to get for it. I know that the modded system would work better for me since it should play everything except if I was missing some system card for a game.

 

That's me. Pretty distinctive around these parts. Local sounds like a good idea. I doubt I have suitable packaging anyway.
