I have a vectrex and a cap kit that I bought from console5.com. I was wondering if anyone who is reliable/experienced would be willing to do the install. There are 26 caps in all http://console5.com/wiki/Vectrex#Capacitor_List

Sometimes the sound works on the system and other times I have to power it up, unplug the power cable and plug it back in and then the sound works.

Looks like they are all through hole mounted, so it should be a pretty easy repair. Id say 1-2 hours max.

I have done it on a few PSUs before. Just note the polarity, desolder the two pins, insert the new cap into the holes, solder and trim off leads...

If it was my own I would do it, but I would not be comfortable working on someone elses hardware
