WTB: Vectrex Flash cart

Hi All,

As the title suggests I am looking for an Vectrex Flash cart, something that I can write to via USB or an SD card.

Richard's Hutchinson's VecMutli has an SD card (included) you can update the SD using a PC to copy more games to the card and then rebuild the cart menu with the included menu maker utility. Since the SD is 2GB it is unlikely you will fill it up. VecMulti also has serial interface capability with a small mod of adding soldering header pins to the board. Then you can use a USB to serial adapter to communicate with the VecMulti while plugged into the Vectrex.

Juan Felix Mateos sells the Mateos Vectrex Multigame Cartridge (MVMC). MVMC is a flash memory cart. The cart has up to 16 storage locations that are rotary switch selectable. Update of MVMC is a drag and drop affair accomplished via the USB connected Mateos Vectrex Burner Dumper (MVBD). When MVMC is inserted into MVBD and plugged into your computer, the selected memory position looks like another flash drive. Just drag the Vectrex binary to the drive and your are done. A plus here is the MVBD can also back up carts in your collection. This solution also works on various platforms. Handy if you have a MAC or Linux system.
