    Hi,

I am looking for a Nintendo Virtual Boy Debugger unit. I have the debugger headset already.

Also looking for a Video Boy (Box to let you display vboy games on a monitor) and a Virtual Boy Gang writer.

Lastly if anyone has any dev or prototype stuff (games, hardware etc) for the virtual boy please contact me.

    Thanks!

I think VA was being funny. As in, do you know how much one of those kits would cost you? Good luck however! ;-)

I think the Video Boy is the rarest Virtual Boy related item. I have never seen such a unit on ebay and I'm also looking for it ;-) A friend mine said there was one unit on Yahoo.jp a long time ago, but he doesn't remember the price. I think the Video Boy would sell for more than 5,000 USD.

Actually it wasnt that expensive. It sold for 90.000yen...~$900 USD. I cant remember when it was.....but probably back in 2004. I think I was bidding on it but didnt win it.

The 2 pictures at the bottom of this page is from that auction:

I think most people missed it but there was an interesting VB dev "item" on yahoo japan just a few days ago.....it went cheap too :)

    Location, location, location ;-)

IIRC you're in Australia? You're probably best off looking on YJ, shipping would be waaaayyy cheaper!

I know it's an old thread, but I actually found one of those units. I think you could line up people to buy something like that at $900, though

Given we've seen a 2000% increase in price on dev hardware since then,
I am betting it's very high now.

I'm shocked anyone would let that go when none have been found for only $900. If I knew about that auction beforehand, It would have went through the roof...
