US WTB Vita DEM-3000H/G/JEC/K/or any FW<1.00

Hi,

I'm looking for PS Vita pre-release dev units, any of these:

• DEM-3000H / DEM-3000G - these come in PSP Go-like form factor
• DEM-3000JEC / DEM-3000K - these should look like normal PS Vita devkits
• Any units with firmware version < 1.00

Ideally I'd like system software version below 0.94, however any units on <1.00 are welcome.

Condition does not matter so long as it turns on.

This is important for advancing the Vita hacking scene. Very important. Please consider this if you own one of these units and it is just collecting dust. Contact OP and help with the effort.

 

Cause the many MANY security features in place in the Vita are a pain in the booty.

 

You might have some luck adding looking for CEM's in the OP. Even if they are a bit watered down they might have a proto FW.

 

It's why I specified "or any <1.00 FW".

 

Sheesh. You all know the rules - quit hijacking another user's WTB thread!

That goes for hiding the request, even if innocently done by mistake, with statements such as "good luck, I've been looking for ages" or "it's on my want list, too".

It might be possible to talk this user out of one of his 5 fw 1.00 display units, though considering the rarity of the devices, he is likely to ask a higher price.

Unfortunately it's not possible to downgrade any retail vita model. I'm honestly not sure what the hell you meant by "high voltage" motherboards and how psp ta79/ta81 has anything to do with this topic, but thanks for replying.

 

"High voltage" was in reference to user Yoti's post on this thread, which also happens to supply files for a 1.50 to 1.00 downgrader...

EDIT: Oh ****, that was for PSP, my bad.

So I had no idea Vita fw went to 0.94, the lowest I've heard of is 0.996. Maybe you have a different source then I do?

Theoretically the version numbers should go down to 0, but I would think that most of those are stashed deep in some $0ny server.

Maybe a unit that died during testing and scavenged from the recycle?
