I'm trying to complete my Shenmue collection, I got almost everything I wanted but 2 games are still missing. :banghead:

These 2 games are:

US Shenmue ==> I found it! :thumbsup:
What's Shenmue Famitsu Edition ==> I got it! :dance: Thanks to everyone who helped me in my research!!! :thumbsup:

So if you have one or both of these games and that you dont want them anymore or want to get rid of let me know by PM! ;-)

I have both, not willing to sell them.

However, I will tell you that US Shenmue (the Japanese thing, I know what it is, just to make sure you don't assume I think you're talking about the US release of Shenmue) isn't hard to find.

However, What's Shenmue: Famitsu Edition was nearly impossible to find. But I eventually got lucky and found one on EBay.

Yeah I know US Shenmue isn't hard to find I just wanted to be sure to buy it complete and in great condition! I found one and I'm waiting to receive it now! :thumbsup:

The last time I saw What's Shenmue Famitsu Edition was last year on ebay I saw the auction too late it was already ended and if I remember correctly it was sold for 60 euros. :banghead:

I found it for $50 USD.

Thing is, its not particularly expensive, its just rare as hell.

Each time I saw it for sale it wasn't expensive, as you say it's just very rare!!!

I cross my fingers I'll be able to get my hands on it soon or later, it's the only one missing in my collection. :banghead:

Yes I have the White Label and GD-R versions, Limited US and Japanese versions, Japanese Shenmue 1 Sample version (never had the opportunity to get the Shenmue 2 Japanese Sample Version), and of course all regular versions. :thumbsup:

I should be more specific, I meant the GD-R beta of Shenmue I thats floating around.

I don't have a GD-R of Shenmue II either, not sure it exists.

I'm still trying to find a Sample version of Shenmue II.

I saw it once and passed on it like a moron.

 

I never saw or heard about a GD-R version of Shenmue II, it should exist somewhere of course but I'm not sure we'll see it one day.

About the Shenmue II Japanese Sample version, I never saw it for sale.

 

Well, that gives me the lead only by the Famitsu version of What's Shenmue.

I just have Shenmue II Xbox NTSC-U and PAL. Is there another version???!!!
I don't have Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, I'm not interrested in that kind of stuff, I don't know how to say, let's say I'm only interrested in "real" Shenmue stuff.

Technically there is an Australian release of Shenmue II for the XBox that looks slightly different.

I don't have the Dekore version of Shenmue II, I never saw the point. The only difference is a sticker on the plastic wrap, once opened you wouldn't know the difference. Unless there is something else about it I don't know.

And buying something with the intention of keeping it sealed has always seemed pointless to me.

You should get Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing though, Ryo is on the box.

I have the Dorikore version of Shenmue II and I can confirm you that except the sticker it's the same as the regular one.
But as it still is some kind of different version I decided to get it!

I agree with you I don't buy something with the intention of keeping it sealed, but when I buy several versions of a game (including some sealed versions of course), I don't open each edition, I just open an edition for each region.

I'm really not willing to buy Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, I'm only interrested in stuff directly related to the original Shenmue games.
