WTB: Xbox Beta Live Debugger

Well, I've repaired enough damaged xbox debuggers that i'm ready to try fixing my damaged BETA Live! debugger (BTW, the 29 pin modchip does work for fixing a FUBAR'd DVT-3)

Anyway, i need another BETA Live! to get this one running. Anyone willing to sell? I'd prefer NTSC, but PAL works too i suppose... LMK what you have and i'll give you a price.

 

Hehe, good reference. I'm sure people will know what you mean based on that.

Why buy a working one to repair that one?

 

I need the eeprom, i need the hard drive data, and i may need to convert the bios off of the working one to a bfm as a boot disc for the busted one.

One of my goals from this project is to reverse engineer a recovery disc for the Beta live debuggers. Currently there is no way to repair one if you screw up the files.

PAL and NTSC Beta Live! Debug Kits will only play region specific games, in other words if you have NTSC games.....

 

I'm aware... pal would make things more dificult, but i could still work around it. Besides, when i'm finished, i should be able to switch back and forth between pal and ntsc. Now i just have to find one....

Do you have any of those NTSC discs left?
