WTB: XBOX BOARD WITH 128MB RAM UPGRADE

Looking for an xbox board with 128mb ram upgrade possibly cpu upgrade to if price is good. I'm located in Henderson, nv usa outside las vegas. Let me know what you have available.

I should still have a RAM upgraded Xbox back home that I can send to you cheap. It probably needs some trace work done since it likes to power itself off. I'll give you some more details in the first week of December if you haven't found one yet.

 

I found the board and was able to examine it some.

The TSOP is bust, so I'll have to install a modchip to fix it. I have a spare Xenium Blue I can install for free and I also have an Xecuter 3 I can install for a bit extra.

The traces look OK, so I want to test it with another PSU to confirm what caused the system to power off on its own. I cleaned up the rest of the board and removed the clock cap. I have fresh clock caps I can use to replace and I can also install a rechargeable battery to replace it and future proof it if you don't mind waiting another 2 weeks or more before shipping it.

Provided everything works I was thinking $30 for the board + shipping, and maybe around $60 + shipping if you wanted the X3.

Can give you shipping details and other PSU test results when I'm back in Denver.

...and it's a 1.0 board.

 

N64 freak sell's the ram upgraded/cpu upgraded xbox's for a good price. PM him. Sorry I couldn't let go of mine. After testing it i realized how much i still want it. LOL

 

If he doesn't go for the xbox, I'm interested.

 

I'm guessing the TSOP got cooked after the capacitor C7D2 was knocked off. I replaced it with an extra ceramic disc cap I had for LM1881 VGA boxes/cables.

The LPC port was also really damaged after a haphazard removal of a pin header. That is now repaired with the standard of quality you would expect to solder those little ram chips. Pictures will be posted soon.

The board and X3ce chip are on hold if the OP doesn't claim the board. If anything else happens, I'll let everyone know in a F/S thread.

 

Looking for a board that doesn't have that much damage repaired. Go ahead and sell it to someone that wants it. I appreciate the offer though.

I have one that I would probably sell since mine has become a bookshelf item. Its a 1Ghz/128meg box. v1.1 with tsop flashed. Barely used (Since the upgrade), built by N64Freek.

 

How much?

 

I'd do 120 + shipping. I think the box has a 500gig drive / samsung dvd w/ a minor eject problem ever so often. It reads discs great. Just doesn't want to eject sometimes.
