Check which version it is before modding. It might be an early unit, in which case it should be OK as-is, or a late unit, which only needs some traces cut. Or it may need the full bypass.

Unibios 3.2 chip you need to buy from unibios.free.fr.

I'm rather busy at the moment, but if you can't find anyone to do it, I may be freed up in a few weeks.
