Damn, I really wish I had a link to this one movie I saw of a D and D nerd being interviewed on the street for some night show. I watched it and ROFL'd like crazy. This guy started talking in old medieval speak and said he was an all powerful grand wizard and everyone in the auidence laughed at his outright embarrasing escapade. He wasnt embarassed at all. I wonder if years of being laughed at and made fun of for years makes them not give a fuck what other people think?
Yakumo, the guy on the left is Simon Cowell (sp?). He's the star of the US version (not sure about the UK). I've never watched an episode, but this guy has become famous for basically being a cunt to contestants, although a very honest one.
Yeah Simon Cowell is the star of the UK version as well. He does X-factor with sharon osbourne also. He is the real star of the show, I only watch the auditions just to see how he takes down the contestants. He is cruel, but very funny! Frankly anyone who goes on that show knows what simon is like - so you can't really feel sorry for them. Unless they are actually insane - but I'm sure most of the really bad people are just there for a laugh and to get on tv.

This reminds me of..: -The person last year who sang Fly me to the moon(ending theme Neon Genesis Evangelion) without knowing it was an anime show ending -The person this year that sang the Jigglypuff song -The person in the French Idols that sang the Japanese(!) opening from Knights of the Zodiac/ Saint Seiya. Especially that last guy was simply hilarious.

Hell, I didnt even know it was a quite old song until I heard it played on a Frank Sinatra album commercial on TV. I was shocked. This was back in my Evangelion crazy days. Good times. Reading boring fanfictions for hours on end. Secretly wanting to play all of the games, too. :lol: I dare someone to go out to American Idol and sing one of the Lunar songs!
It's not quite the same thing, but someone tossed water in his face in one of the earlier seasons. I only like watching the auditions, simply for how he handles some of these people.
