Fake for sure. Sega can't enter the market of this generation again. first, because the new-gen is comming . Second, There's already 3 compagnies running for a time. Finally, because they already have a 128bit machine, making another one with a bit more power would be really stupid. A bit like the release of the 32x before the saturn. So, if sega is planning a new hardware, it should be released in 2 or 3 years. I hope they will return in the business, Why not with snk? that would be really cool. i just hope they learned from their mistakes this time...
Nothing to see here(love that line)... Spanish(I'm thinking in portuguese, sorry if it's an offense) people celebrates Inncent's Day(December 28th), kinda like April's Fools day.
well actually no console (or PC) is 128 bits (at least not the main processor) - PC´s are just starting with 64 bits, IBM uses 64 bit technology a bit longer. the main processor of the dreamcast and xbox are in fact 32 bits. GC=64Bits, PS2 are also 64 bits i think. Besides that... bits actually don´t say that much about the machine´s actual performance. what smelled a bit fishy though was the specification of the gfx processor... Sega keeps sticking with the Videologic technology for their next generation arcade machine... so it would be most likely that they also used it in their home hardware. edit: i just read the specifications again and could not find were it was stated that it would be 128bits technology
Amazing photo shop job. They left the DVD logo on it, even though it's supposed to use a proprietary format! :smt043
i was only saying sega's ''new system'''s specs where a bit better than the specs of this gen of console. Not enough to say new gen. it would be like a second ''128bit'' console for them, not a next-gen system, wich would be really stupid to do because every new-gen competitors are on their way. ;-)
yeah, it's simply a ApeXtreme with a sega logo on it. here's some pictures of the ApeXtreme: (note how big this thing is!) :smt043 :smt043
Yes, the site where is the pic Evangelion-01 has posted is spanish. They put that joke news the 28 of December, DÃa de los Santos Inocentes (is the April's Fools day at Spain).
Jesus. The thing is bigger than an Xbox? Do they include a forklift rental with the purchase of the ApeXtreme?
Christ, that thing's a monster. :no You'd think the guy who Photoshopped that pic would know a thing or two about perspective - the Sega logo looks extremely off-kilter. :smt043
