I've seen instructions online to put those kind of lights in your XBOX. Its just a mod and the seller is trying sell it as a dev kit. It's prolly modded with a chip too. For $36 though. Its probably worth it.
Looks nice.. It looks ok but who would mod a dev system (if that is what it really is)? I'm not even sure if that is a real dev system but I don't have much experience with Xbox hardware anyways. I'm guessing they just took the top off of one of the clear PAL Xbox's and stuck it on a normal black one and added some cold cathodes.
Dev Top, but that's all The top on that system is from a true Xbox dev kit, but the bottom is retail all the way. The seller simply took the top off a dev kit, kept the dev hardware for themselves and then swapped the top onto a retail box. -hl718
Man...I wish we had an emoticon that was a picture of a turd, as thats what that Xbox reminds me of. Its a waste of two perfectly good Xboxes...one dev, one retail... So I'l just do this: :drinkers:
