WTS {GER} Sega MegaCD Dev unit CrossProducts

today i offer one of my dev hardware highlights!
This black pearl was made back in the days 1992, from Cross Products for Sega. Its an complete MegaCD Dev unit in full working condition.
Bios version is the US SegaCD V1.00!!!
The Unit is complete refurbisht. New cd drive, and new caps on all of the three boards.
You can run NTSC/PAL carts and all NTSC MCD Games.
But its more for sega collectors .
On the front you can switch between emulator or cd drive.
You can also switch region and MHz for carts over dip.
The Unit is complete tested, and works without problems!
On the back you can also connect the emulator (not include, but assember selling the emu in his thread).
The Unit has also an fan, start running when you boot up the unit.
I can make highres pics or videos for serious buyer.
Loose unit, no software!

Im not really in need to sell this, but i like to spend some money for other items...

If you had open it, do you know where the emulato's plug goes inside?

 

I think so, but i dont have the ZAX Emu.

The Unit has three layer pcb inside. MD, dev and MCD board. The Emu and scsi plug goes on the dev pcb.

Do you know if 68000 cpu is on MD card and MCD card? If not, it could maybe works with ZAX emulator since ZAX provide it.

 

Hm i dont know , sorry. And i will not open the unit again. Unit is on HOLD for some days.

Your eyes fine, it is MCD US Bios V 1.00.

Oh wowzers, I've only seen 1.00 US once. Dang dude, any plans to dump this via the non-invasive cable method before you sell??

 

Raylyd repaired my unit. When i remember right, he dump it and post it here in another thread. ;-)
