WTS : PS2 Test Debugging station DTL-H10000 (NTSC/J)

Hey Guys

Having a bit of a clearout (yet again) in order to raise some funds for a new laptop for the missus,

I have for sale a PS2 Test Debugger, DTL-H10000

Its a NTSC/J version, but has 220/240v 50/60Hz AC power as standard, The DTL-H10000 were the first generation Test units, and do not have the HDD bay on the rear, instead there is a PCMCIA slot for a external HDD

Condition wise, its in pretty good shape, the laser is still going strong in it, as its hardly had any use, has a couple of light scuffs on the top of the unit, but these would easially polish out

Looking for £110 (OBO) including courier delivery within the UK, Will possibly post to Europe but either post in here or PM me for shipping costs, am a bit reluctant to post any further due to the shipping price

What region does this unit play ? Only ntsc/j ? Does it play ps2 master discs fine ?

 

Sorry, neglected to mention that in the 1st post, its the Unit only im afraid, but will include a UK Powerlead and RGB scart, and ill see if i have any spare pads to include as well

 

Is this still sealed, or has it been opened?

...Do you have any close ups showimg the scuff marks?

 

Here you go, they actually look a lot worse in the pic due to the flash off the camera, but if i didnt use they flash the wouldnt show up!

As for it being sealed, i personally have never opened it, but am unsure if it has been opened before i owned it, but i cannot see any seals etc broken on it

 

i want one of these. but the one that plays EVERYTHING.

 

This technically can play everything, but you need to patch the discs to master first

Also this is possibly on hold, waiting to hear back from someone about whether they want to proceed with the sale

how do i patch it? what do i have to do for it to play NTSC-J/U PSX and PS2 games? I don't care about backups or cds or even regular dvds... i'm gaining some interest now...

 

You would have to patch the cd images to master. There are several tools for that on the net. Basically to play a NTSC-U title you would have to back it up to your hard drive, patch it, burn it back to dvd-r/cd-r and then play it.

 

FYI - The DTL-H10000 and SCPH-10000 consoles did not come with those seals. They appeared a bit later on in the PS2 range.
