I should mention that the debug has 2 cracks on the case due to damage sustained during shipping. It has never been opened, however, and runs beautifully.

The dvt-3 looks cooler with the metal jewel, but the dvt-4 is more functional. It's pretty easy to screw up a dvt-3

Yeah, I've been battling between the two but I gotta start somewhere.

    I'll say...

I screwed up my DVT-3 motherboard and hard disk. So I replaced it with a DVT-4 debug motherboard and hard disk.

Best of both worlds, the functionality of a DVT-4, with the hot-ass metal jewel.

Maybe I missed this before, but does the proto unit play standard games? Is the mobo the same as what's in a retail 1.0-1.1 unit?

Unfortunately it is only a display model that was used at shows, so a mobo, HD, and PSU were never housed in this unit. Makes a great conversation piece

    Ah. Makes sense now.
