I knew about this game before I even had the internet, thanks to PlayStation Magazine who did an article about the history of the X-Men when the first movie was released. They said it was almost comparable to the PS graphics believe it or not! So was it canceled due to Sega stopping support of the 32X or something else? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXRtAY5tUqM&feature=related
Well you need to consider that the game would probably be released in 1996 on a platform born dead. Also in fall 1995 Nakayama announced Sega discontinued support for all their systems except Saturn to gather resources to battle Sony ( and the impending N64 launch ).
You have more info & scans in this thread: http://www.segasaturno.com/portal/released-x-men-vt3869.html I don't know how can google translate to the english: http://translate.googleusercontent....&twu=1&usg=ALkJrhicoUS_Uwl5C4b6nYJJbjrmuK7ufg I was always wondering if maybe another builds of this game would be floating around... In some screenshots we can see Wolverine for example... I'm pretty sure ex- Scanvenger people can have a lot of treasures... I know at least one friend in this forum having a cartridge prototype too. But seems to be the same build leaked... Is a good looking unreleased game, I hope someday we can view more stuff of this one.
