X - Super FX chip Super Nintendo alpha ROM help

Hi all,
I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post this but....
I am trying to burn this to EPROM so I can try it out on an actual SNES:

When I try to open the rom to check/remove headers using this:

I get an error message saying the rom could not be identified/might be corrupt

I have tried the following copies of the ROM
X (Alpha) (released by hidden-palace.org).smc
X (Japan) (Proto).sfc
X (Tech Demo 1) (released by hidden-palace.org).smc
X (Tech Demo 2) (released by hidden-palace.org).smc

I tried re-downloading to files to check if they were corrupt when I downloaded them

All of them produce the same messages.
Also when I try these ROMs out using ZSNES it displays the following before loading the ROMs

Only the first two ROMS listed above are playable, the third one stays at a black screen and the fourth one loads but has corrupt graphics and then crashes ZSNES.

Are these ROMs just bad dumps? or is there another copy of them that works? or any way to fix the ROMs?

Same results as ZSNES

 

Is that a yes or a no?

If the filesize is a a multiple of 1MB + 512b you can just remove the first 512b with any hex editor.

The ROM sizes are 111kb (the first two ROMS are the same), 240kb and 128kb
