I doubt I can find parts for this but it's worth a try.

recently found a xbox with a x2.3b pro chip in it at goodwill but either it was missing or someone pulled off the programmer and bios bank switch panel from it.

if anyone has spare parts for this chip I would very much like to know. If not the programmer atleast the switch panel would be amazing.

    thanks all!

I wish I could help you out on that. I have been looking for that programmer also for a really long time. Hopefully someone will have a bad chip that they can pull it off for you. BUt it will only work from a X2.3 PRO. It is not the same from a X2.2 or a X2.1. The LED on the 2.3 PRO has 3 legs and the LED on the X2.2 has 2 legs. So they are wired ever so slightly different. Maybe it can be rewired to work but I know that they are not the same.

Also the wire harness is different for the X2.2 and the X2.3. They totally changed it and then again for the X2.6. So it stands alone with parts. I just wanted to tell you this in case you do find someone with the wrong parts.

Yea, it was just a hope something might be out there. Do the control panels have any chips on them? Could it be possible with some nice high res photos to replicate one?

There is no chips on the PCB. It has a 4 bank dip switch. 3 of them control the banks and 1 of them controls write protection. There is also another switch that enables and disables the modchip and finally there is a LED with a resistor that shows you if the chip is enabled or disabled. Green is enabled and red is disabled.

So yes you can make one up with a series of switches. But you would really need to follow the traces to see where they all go. The one I have in my collection has never been stuck to a xbox and it has the original 2 sided tape and I am not willing to remove it to get to the traces on the bottom side of the board. I am keeping the chip in it original condition since the tape has never been exposed. If I had one that was removed and the tape was destroyed I would get you a scan or diagram of the traces. The pic below is one I pulled of the internet.

The modchip should still work without the PCB attached. By default the modchip will boot to the first bank when the PCB is not attached. You just cant disable it or switch to any of the other banks.

Anyone willing to get me a scan of the traces on the back of that switch board? That would be absolutely amazing!
