X360 protos

Here's a pic of 9 Xbox360 prototypes.

 

...All I got was a 404 error

 

Same 404 here.

 

I saw them. Some of them look just like PCs. The odd thing is that every shot is in the same position which makes me wonder if it's a photo shop job.

It's interesting how many of these protos still have 4 pad sockets. I wonder if M$ were contemplating using the current S-pad for the 360? Only seems to be the 2 or 3 on the right that have wireless pads.

 

You asked me? I never realized. Don't some of those protos look ugly :smt045 Just like that toilet looking Dreamcast Proto.

Midway in this new picture the lunch box makes a feature.... seems it was actually an xbox... what were MS thinking.

 

I think the design is growning on me.. But the name isn't.. Plus where is the pink one cause real men wear pink.

 

I wish they would've kept the ability to use older Xbox controllers. I don't like wireless. My Logitech doesn't work anymore, and I don't care for the idea of having to recharge them.

 

since it has 2 usb ports i wonder if someone will be able to mod it so that the older xbox controllers can be used (since there are the xbox-usb adaptors)..... its just the matter of having the drivers on the xbox360

 

That's a good question. I suspect there will eventually be some sort of peripheral (official or no) that will allow it.
