Hi guys, I was wondering if there are modded cases for the xbox 1 in the market or projects running. Always thought the case of the xbox 1 was too bulky and a bit ugly. Some months ago I saw couple of projects for a mini xbox but from what i've read the authors never finished the projects or if they did, they kept it to themselves. If anyone is working on one or knows website selling modded ones let me know thanks.
Modded as in? Reduced in size? There's slim mods, which removes the DVD-ROM drive, and you trim the case down to where the DVD-ROM was. The mini box, requires a lot of work, and the XBOX motherboard is rather small, you'd need to probably put a SATA drive in there and a no-DVD-ROM bios. Power supply's cables would be extended to fit at the back of the unit. Selling cases? I doubt it. A lot of people have given up with the XBOX and moved to XBOX 360 sadly. There was even replacement DVT cases as well back in the day.
