XBOX 1 Dev Kit / Retail Games?

Hi there,

just a Question. I want to buy a XBOX 1 DEV Kit. Do it plays normally Retail Games? Or did i have to change the Bios File (as in the green Debug) ?

Or do i have to do something else to play Retail Games on the Dev Kit?

It play´s Retail Games.

 

You will need Hack-devkit-GueuX-V2,just search for it and follow the readme.

i think i have this here anywhere on my harddisk.. think i used it on my old Debug Kit.

 

Why wear out a Debug Kit playing retails? Just pick up a retail unit for a few $ / £ / Euro these days.

Hey, I am all for people owning / collecting / using such units, but it seems pointless to purchase something that costs far more than a retail unit and ask whether it can play retail discs - that's my point.

From a practical point-of-view, you don't want to go using up the Debug Kit and wearing out those cruddy lasers on such a nice unit. I used to FTP over everything to my Debug Kit as to avoid wearing it out.

If this person is really keen to go the full hog and use retail titles on the unit, then it is possible to read Xbox discs on a PC, FTP the files over and do it that way.
