Xbox 360 Beta Recovery Request

I was wondering if anyone had a xbox 360 Beta recovery iso or remote, that is less than or equal to 1838.1

I would love to know if anyone has a beta remote! Particularly 1640, 1740, 1834, 1838/1838.1. Thanks for starting this Lehvak . Hopefully someone has something.

I'll give a shout out to @Commander Shepard since I saw on his ME3 thread, in one of the pics, there's a 1888BETA recovery. I don't know anything about it nor have I spoke with him but it's worth a shot.

1888 wont work on a beta console. But thanks for trying.
That 1888BETA he has just seems like 1888, but it's worth a try to see if he just labeled it wrong and that is lower than 1888.

 

Yeah I know that mate haha. Can't help but try though with a recovery labelled BETA. We've never seen a beta recovery, so how would we know Microsoft didn't make a 1888 beta for whatever reason. I doubt it as well but you know....

Its hard for me to believe any of those pre 1888 would be lost forever. But hard to get, sure. Files of the giano project are useless I asume? (its only a kernel and a tiny video framebuffer test program.) Dint people get Beta hardware work or upgraded beyond 1888? or files "downloaded" from these kits? but your looking for recoveries, thats somewhat diferent, and also, intresting

 

That was only the Beta 2 that was able to go up.
Beta 1's can only run xex1's while 1888 is a xex2.
I doubt the giano project would help. Thanks for the suggestions though.

 

The 1888BETA I have is legitimate. All of my stuff is. You can ask Gamecheat. I can't test it on my Slim because it'll brick the kit, otherwise I'd post a screen. It says BETA on the XDK GUI, as well as the About Console settings in the original dash.

 

Look in the recovery. Find the default xex open it in hex does it say xex2 or xex1? Should be in the header.

This is a Xenon recovery, super early. Not even sure it'll work on an XeDK but worth archiving I guess

Giano does eat the xboxrom in that recovery (after slightly editing the header) but doesnt apear to "do" anything yet. Thanks XboxSurgeon, love it. (probably useless for Giano). its June 2004, and giano is May 2004.

 

Looks like an alpha stage recovery. Anybody have a G5 to test it on?

Would anyone know if the specs have to be the same as the Xenon kits to run the recovery? Similar to how the Xbox Alpha 1 /2 kit recovery works for frankenalphas.

EDIT: I opened it, it looks for a xenon kit, so i assume you need the OS in the first place. Hmmmm

This may be a dumb question, but can you successfully install 1888 on a Prototype Slim?

It's been forever, but I remember someone advising me not to because the Slim's Kernel does not support it. ???
