    does Xbox Component HDTV AV Cable work for Xbox 360 system???

    If it does...shouldn't the VGA cable work for Xbox then? =D

    (i know...no real VGA support. But progressive scan support...)

    Don't know, but the premium package comes with component (and av) cables. So as long as your getting that package you'l be getting the cables anyway.

    I read in some MS PR interview that Xbox cables aren't 360 compatible.

    The connector is entirely different, so no current Xbox cables will work on the 360.
