I'm purchasing a 360 which is NTSC so I can play my NCAA and MLB games on a 360, because alas I can't on my PAL 360. What considerations do I need to take into account? I'll be using a VGA adapter for the TV, so it should run on my monitor fine. Any thing else, Power? etc? thanks
What I am curious about, if your NTSC 360 would break, would it be possible to send it to microsoft UK to have it replaced?
No, it would have to go back to the USA unless you were in the US Forces on a US base in the UK or Europe, which is different as it is treated as US soil.
I own an US 360 and I leave in Europe. I registered it on Xbox.com, the site stated I had a warranty. So, I'd say you would have the warranty. Not sure though.
The only real issue if it breaks is the region. Since all 360 consoles are the same internally (save for the obvious motherboard revisions) if you sent it to an EU repair shop they might end up sending back a PAL refurb. -hl718
