    Hi All
Is there anyway I can tell what region the Xbox 360 console I have is from.
    I have no idea.
Hopefully someone can help me out with how to find the region of the console
    Thanks in advance

The systems are region free anyway. You set your region when you set it up.

Got a source for this? I always thought the 360 was heavily region locked, otherwise I would've set mine to work with American games because they were always much cheaper than Australian ones.

They are region locked, you're just able to change locality.
I think the only way you could tell without turning it on and trying is by looking at the power supply port at the back and check the voltages ?

The video display options are a clue. I believe NTSC consoles don't support modes like 576i or 50hz.

You can't generalize much of anything on the 360. Region lock is individually set for each game.

You can set your own region.
